Karan Mehra and Shoojit Sircar share a good rapport

Actor Karan Mehra, who was seen in 'Badmashiyaan' recently, shares a great rapport with director Shoojit Sircar. Apparently, the duo has done many commercials together and interestingly, Karan is playing the younger Amitabh Bachchan in the director’s upcoming venture, 'Shoebite'. Shoojit says, “Karan is spontaneous. I realised this when I did an ad with him for the first time.He is also very grounded. Like me, he hails from Delhi, thus, I always feel at home while working with him. I will cast him in any of my future projects, whenever there is a good role.”

Says Karan, “When it comes to ad shoots, directors are very rigid, as there is immense pressure. But Shoojit gives full liberty to his actors, while keeping the product in mind. He also has the skill to capitalise on your plus points and is very patient on the sets. In all these years that we have worked together, never once have I seen him lose his cool and that is calming for an actor.”
